WEEKLY THOUGHT
š What is FCL Up To This Spring?
Hey all, Adam Lamberti here, Director of Media for First Class Lacrosse. While Iāve been helping Deemer and Matt tie together the newsletter every week, Iām pumped to have the keys to writing the Weekly Thought this week.
š„ NCAA Lacrosse Coverage
Iām only 24, but I still vividly remember heading to M&T Bank Stadium for the Konica Minolta Face-Off Classic, spending Saturdays at Homewood Field, and eagerly waiting for my copy of Inside Lacrosse to arrive at my parentsā house.
Back in middle school, I spent hours rewatching highlights from Lacrosse Film Room on YouTubeāincluding this classic below.
Lacrosse Film Room was the best. Back then, he was the only one consistently posting college lacrosse clips on YouTube, and I couldnāt get enough.
But what if Lacrosse Film Room hadnāt posted about John Kluh?
I might have never heard of him, never seen this clip, and never spent countless hours in my backyard trying to replicate his move.
Thatās why our whole team is passionate about putting out as much college lacrosse coverage as we canāboth menās and womenās. I remember how much these videos shaped me as an aspiring college player, and I hope our content does the same for the next generation.
We even brought back the OG Film Room Matchup series, highlighting battles like Bobby Van Buren vs. McCabe Millon in 2025!
š§ āOn the Runā Newsletter
Like I said earlier, I couldnāt get enough of Inside Lacrosseāfirst the magazines delivered to my door, then later the write-ups and highlights on their website.
With so much talent in the game today and more video coverage than ever, starting a newsletter to recap the weekend felt like a no-brainer. Hereās what Iāll be covering each week:
The Headliner: The storyline that stole the show this weekend.
Supporting Cast: The things that weren't maybe the star of the weekend, but still important.
Quick Hits: The weekend's standout plays, hustle moments, and everything in between.
On the Rise: Spotlighting players and teams who are setting themselves up for big things ahead.
Plus a final section that changes week to week.
A new On the Run drops every Tuesday at 12pm, so be sure to subscribe to have in your inbox and read previous weeks below.
š§ āCoaches Cornerā Newsletter
Deemer and Matt are offering a newsletter of their own every other Sunday.
Each edition of Coaches Corner includes:
Coach Spotlight: A quote from a coach
Some Outside Inspiration: An outside book/newsletter
A Trip to the Principles Office: A lesson on a specific principle
A Webinar Freebie: A drill freebie from our Circle community
This free newsletter supplements what we already have going at our Menās and Womenās coaches communities on Circle.
š Online Communities
On Circle, we hold monthly webinars with college coaches and share their drills, tips and advice with community members as well as access to a film room, discussion boards, recruiting resources, additional drills and more.
Check out our menās community here and womenās here.
